Core Exchange

If your existing turbos remain installed and cannot be removed for prior shipment, you may opt to pay a refundable deposit. The deposit will be refunded once Pure Turbos receives and inspects your standard, undamaged turbos.

Euroflow (Perth) will coordinate the return shipment to Pure Turbos USA. All returned cores must arrive within 30 days of receipt of your new turbo to avoid a 17.5% charge deduction from the refund.

To ensure safe transit, reuse the original packaging provided by Pure Turbos. Document how the package arrived, including contents such as wastegates, actuators, etc., and return all components in the exact condition received.

Installing Your Turbo

• Verify Engine Condition: Confirm the engine is functioning within factory-certified parameters.

• Replace Filters/Fluids: Install new oil filter, air filter, and perform an oil change.

• Oil Supply Line: Replace in petrol or race setups; clean thoroughly for diesel variants.

• Avoid Thread Sealer: Do not apply silicone on any oil supply or return lines.

• Oil Drain Line: Ensure vertical orientation with no kinks or obstructive bends.

• Flush Oil Channels: Clean oil passages in fresh or rebuilt engines/heads.

• Clean Intercooler/Aircooler: Remove all contaminants and verify unobstructed airflow.

• Intake / Exhaust Checks: Clear any flow restrictions, including catalysts and MAF housings.

• Hose Integrity: Secure all intake hoses and clamps; clear and seal any gaps.

• Breather Replacement: Swap crankcase breather elements and inspect air filter placement.

• Verify Actuator and Drain Orientation: Ensure “C” clip is seated and oil drain is vertical.

• Torque and Lock Tabs: Confirm tightness of all fasteners and install lock tabs if required.

• Tool Clearance: Remove all tools before initial start.

Startup Instructions
Disable ignition or fuel injection to crank engine until oil pressure is registered. Once pressure is stable, enable the system and start the engine. Repeat this pre-oil-pressure start procedure after every oil change
